Freight First Pledge to Raise £15,000 for Local Charity
Last year to celebrate our 15-year anniversary in business, we adopted the Babygrow Appeal at Chester Hospital as our Charity of the Year – We pledged to raise £15,000 for the charity throughout 2015 and 2016.
Freight First has a great connection with the charity as Sales Manager Chris Bullock’s twins were born prematurely and cared for in the neonatal care unit at Chester Hospital. The nurses did an absolutely incredible job in caring for Jess and Joe and Chris and his family will be forever grateful for what they did. This is our chance to give something back to the charity.
They are currently aiming to raise £3 million so that they can double the size of the existing baby unit, allowing them to help more babies like Jess and Joe – a truly worthwhile cause. So throughout 2015 and 2016, the Freight First team are going to be running, jumping, walking, rowing, cycling and raising money by as many means as possible. We’ll be updating you the whole time so keep your eyes peeled for updates coming very soon.
If you can spare a few pounds, we would be extremely grateful. But if not, please share this page with your friends and family and help us to help this amazing charity.
