At Freight First our goal is not about winning a job and then leaving the matter there. We are all about building relationships with our customers, learning all about their delivery requirements and finding the best possible solutions to all of their logistical needs.

Building a relationship takes time, and the majority of relationships are built on trust. Our customers trust us to deliver their goods on time, to look after their goods, and always charge a fair and honest price. Above all else – they trust us to do what we say we are going to do, when we say we are going to do it.

Since our Managing Director Simon Meredith founded the company back in 2000, his passion has always been to build a company that delivers outstanding customer service. A number of systems have been put in place to ensure that as a company we deliver on our promises, including our company core value that Simon introduced; ‘We keep our promises’.

It sounds simple but ‘keeping our promises’ in every area of our business will go a long way to ensuring that we deliver on the outstanding customer service that Simon envisioned all those years ago. If we say we are going to do something – we do it!

We also conduct regular customer service training sessions where we get the whole team involved.

For us to ensure that our company values are always in place and we continue to provide the best possible service we don’t just rely on our staff and their ability to keep their promises. We also rely on feedback from our customers to guide us on any areas that we could improve upon. We gain this information not by bombarding our customers inboxes with survey after survey, but by the fantastic relationships that our staff build with our clients. We take the time to listen to our customers and treat every piece of feedback seriously, whether that information is by a phone call, email, letter, testimonial, carrier pigeon or any method you can think of.
